Forest Primitive Baptist Church is an organized group of believers that worship the Lord, Jesus Christ. We rejoice in His finished work upon the cross where He accomplished redemption and full atonement for His people. The resurrection of Jesus Christ from death was His outward show of victory. We proclaim this victorious gospel to all of God’s children that are among every nation, kindred, people, and tongue.
Our Mission
Our mission is to be the pillar and ground of the truth regarding Jesus Christ and all that He has done. In doing this, we provide a place of peace, comfort, rest, and strength to God’s people. The simplicity of the church and the gospel message removes the complexity, chaos, and confusion of the world around us. We warmly welcome those who come among us seeking refuge from this world of sin and sorrow.
Our Values
We are committed to the principles of Jesus Christ regarding His church kingdom. Our activities are infused with the same love, mercy, and grace that the Lord has shown to us. We exhort and encourage our members to:
- Live by trusting in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding, which is called “Living by Faith.”
- Diligently pray for one another and seek the good of those around us with a spirit of self-sacrificing love.
- Assemble ourselves frequently to worship our Lord, learn more about Him, and enjoy the sweet fellowship of our brothers and sisters.
