Elder Danny Wisner is from the Southeast Louisiana and South Mississippi areas. His mother took him to Primitive Baptist churches as a small child, but he stopped attending church after turning 13. At the age of 21, Brother Danny had a “road to Damascus” experience that compelled him to return home and regularly attend the Old Baptist church. Although he struggled with the doctrines of grace, he was humbled by the love and affection shown by the church. A pivot point in Brother Danny’s journey was witnessing a Communion Service and the washing of the saints’ feet. He began diligently searching the scriptures and hearing powerful sermons from his pastor and the visiting ministers. He united with the Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Natchez, MS in June 2002. He made his first efforts to speak March 2003 and was ordained to the full work of the gospel ministry February 18, 2006. Brother Danny and Sister Liddia (nee Rougeou) were married March 17, 2020.
